Senior Network Engineer

Minimum/General Experience:

7 Years of relevant experience.

Functional Responsibility:

Primary work efforts are within a domain for nodes of 251 and greater. Network planning of TCP/IP swITShing and routing and works with Network Security Engineers for sound security solutions. Works with Network Architects for wired and wireless solutions. Support the help desk with Tier 3 and 4 network issues. Designs network configurations including hardware, software and integration requirements. Analyzes proper network capacity and traffic patterns. Troubleshoots technical issues related to viruses, worms, service attacks and network related problems impacting the network. Performs Design modifications to network configurations to improve response time, quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness. Develops and proposes policies and procedures to clients and sponsors. Implements network configurations including hardware, software and peripherals. Manages work of all Network Engineers.

Minimum Education and Certifications:

Associate’s Degree, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) Certification and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Certification.
