Junior Network Engineer

Minimum/General Experience:

3 Years of relevant experience.

Functional Responsibility:

Primary work efforts are within a domain for nodes of 0 – 250. Works with Network Security Engineers for sound security solutions. Supports the Help Desk with Tier 1 and 2 network issues and Network implementation of TCP/IP swITShing and routing and works with Network Security Engineers for sound security solutions. Monitors and compiles data for network capacity and traffic patterns. Troubleshoots technical issues related to viruses, worms, services attacks and network related problems impacting the network. Install, configure, upgrade and maintain network support equipment and software. Recommend and implement modifications to network configurations to improve response time, quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness. Manage network inventory and supplies. Assist with policies and procedures development. Implement network configurations including hardware, software and peripherals. Works under Senior Network Engineer where applicable.

Minimum Education and Certifications:

Associate’s Degree and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Certification.
